Evergreen Insurance has an opening in our Ebensburg, PA office for a full‐time Commercial Lines Assistant.

Key components of the job are providing support to the Commercial Lines Marketing and Commercial Lines Service Departments. Details of these components include but are not limited to:

Commercial Lines Service

Provide assistance with the following tasks as directed by Account Service Managers:

  • Check and process new business and renewal policies.
  • Check and process endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
  • Prepare and issue certificates of insurance, binders, and auto id cards.
  • Report claims to carrier on insureds behalf.
  • Use carrier websites to obtain policy documents, rating information, claim information, billing information, and loss runs.
  • Update agency management system/create submissions for remarketing of accounts.
  • Assist with proposals and stewardship reports.
  • Provide support during ASM vacations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested.

Commercial Lines Marketing

Provide assistance with the following tasks as directed by Marketing:

  • Quote submissions online.
  • Attach accounts in agency management system once account has been closed/bound.
  • Check quotes.
  • Assist with proposals.
  • Provide backup during marketing personnel vacations.
  • Enter handwritten submissions into agency management system as needed.
  • Retrieve supplementals and policy forms from carrier sites as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent), degree preferred.
  • A Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Producer’s Insurance License is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months in the insurance industry preferred.
